The date on the bulletin states July/20 (today's date) and no where it states that this is only for June filers. Am I missing something here

I got my 45 day letter last month. The letter came to the Lawyer's office who faxed it to HR. HR director signed it and returned it to the lawyer who then posted it back to BEC. I looked at a copy of this letter. It is very straight forward. It only requires the attention of employer and/or lawyer. The employee does not figure into it at all. So, follow up with employer (HR) and your lawyer about it. But do not delay. If BEC does not receive a response within 45 days they will mercilessly close the case. So, beware!

Please advise:
I am on F-1 and working under CPT from Jan 07 to Aug. 07 and will extend CPT from Sept 07 to Dec. 07.
I applied I-485 and 765 (EAD) as a husband on my wife's LC on July 2, 2007.
I will not be getting my EAD before Sept. 07.
My confusion is whether is it legal to extend my CPT on F1 even if I receive AOS receipt number ??

hello all,
I wanted a clarification regarding address change:
My company changed address recently from address City A to address City B (same county, same metropolitan area). Do you know if I need to do any LCA Amendment?
I had consulted a lawyer regarding this, he said we don't need to do any LCA Amendment since it is the same metropolitan area.
Also I am not getting any clear answers from any other websites.
Wanted to cross check with you all. If anybody know please help.

I must say it made me spend some time to figure out what it is. Initially I thought it was something square floating in a container of water or a pond. Then I studied it for 30 sec. or so and realized it's a waterfall. Then I found myself really studying it to grasp what you're showing. From the "does it catch your eye and hold you" perspective, it worked for me. From the "this is a beautiful shot that I have to print and hang on a wall, I'd probably vote no. But I am going to go back and look at it a second time because I'm intrigued.

But this time there are 90+ dems and Reps co-sponsored this bill..so chance of this getting passed is enormous and I was hoping since this is the child of those claiming to be the champions of the legal immigration ..could probably insert something to bring relief to the legal community..

Hello,
I have been approved for a new H1 visa for 2 years - Consulate Case. My previous visa extension was denied & so applied for a new one with a different company in a different state. I m trying to book an appointment online for the interview in which I have to fill up DS 156 form. There is one question # 24, where it is asking me write the address where I will stay. At present, I have not decided on address as I don't know stamping would be approved or not. So what do I need to write there. I presently stay in a different stay where I own a house.
Lawyers & experienced people pls. help out as soon as possible... I am running out of time...

yes there most likely will be an RFE asking for her paystubs...looking at the current trends. You might try her stamping H-4 instead. People have a higher rate of success there. For her H-4 stamping, they just might ask for your paystubs....but thats also not a complete guarantee.

My PD is Feb 2008 and my I-140 has been approved the same year. I am on my H-1b 3 yr extension.

How will removing country limits help China, India and ROW.
Has someone done any calculations on visa date movement.
We should have some comparison on this because some of us from China against. I seen many ROW against.
Does it help only Indians or everyone by how much?
I see these calculations bringing Indians, Chinese and ROW together.
the truth is this.... some of the chinese are against removal of country limits becoz they do not care if it helps them..... they r simply opposed to removal of per country limits becoz they cannot see india getting any benefit..... its the age old chinese mindset which cannot be changed with numbers or calculations...... otherwise just think for u'rself...... if china is retrogressed as evident from monthly visa bulletin .... & removal of per country limits will create 1 queue for everyone..... then y would some of these chinese be opposed to the removal of per country limits.....

I am on H1B visa currently, set to expire in two months from now (end of September). I need to get my H1B renewed for the next 3 yrs. Due to unavoidable reasons my lawyer has not been able to file for the renewal yet.
My questions are -
1. Do I need to have the approval notice before my expiration date?

You do not need to inform the company holding your H1 when doing a transfer.
I believe this year's quota is over - so if you do have a file a new H1 ( and if cap to non-cap is considered a new # ) , then you will have to wait till next year.
I'm not very aware of the process of transfer between cap and non-cap - the new company's attorney are another good source for your question - they should be able to help you out faster.

If the new PWD guidelines were effective 01/01/10, then it shouldn't effect your PWD since it was filed on 12/30/09. You should try and find some document or FAQs to prove the same and send them to your lawyer. My guess is he might have messed up something in your process and is trying to cover it up with this story. Its better to have him re-start the process in that case because if he infact messed up something and he files your PERM, it could be potentially denied which will directly impact you...Try to find out if what he is saying is infact true (which I doubt), or if he is just mistaken..
