The U.S. House of Representatives concurred today with the Senate Amendment to H.R. 5116, America COMPETES Reauthorization Act of 2010 by a bipartisan vote of 228 to 130.
The bill aims to maintain national economic and scientific leadership by: supporting basic research; improving science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education; and fostering innovation, especially the development of new energy technologies.

I-140 belongs to the employer only, so it is up-to them to disclose the details. Unless you change employer without using AC21 clause, I-140 details won't be necessary.

My wife is currently in the US and since my PD is current we need to file her I-485. We are trying to self file and would like to know what documents do we need to provide to prove that she successfully fullfilled her 2 year home residency requirement (HRR). She left the US in January 15, 2006 and came back on H4 in February 8, 2008.
The fact that she was granted H4 visa implies that she has fullfilled the 2 year HRR but our attorney said that she needs to prove that my wife did indeed fullfill this requirement.
Has anyone been in this position?
Please advise.

Anyway, you can include your wife's paystub from the employer if she was working, university records if she was studying, etc., when she was outside USA. However, I am not sure if any of these is needed since the passport is sufficient for establishing her period of absence.

After getting Employment based Green Card in EB3 or EB2 category:
1. When is the LATEST you should start working for sponsoring employer ?
(e.g. If card received on 3rd of the month, do you HAVE TO start same month or can wait for a month or so ?)
2. If salary, after GC, is lesser than mentioned during Labor stage, what problems will it cause for:
- GC renewal ?
- US citizenship ?
- OTHER problems (GC Cancelation, Deportation...)
3. What if, after GC, sponsoring employer gives termination letter with:
- NO reason ?
- reason stating bad economy ?
Please tell, for each case, what problems will it cause for:
- GC renewal
- US citizenship
- OTHER problems (GC Cancelation, Deportation...)

Bush said he wants to improve the working visas, I think the prority needs to offer to Canadians because Canadinas use the same language and education system, the distance is closer. We need to call all the senetors, the working visas.etc. need to go to Canadina citizens first.

Are you working now? Consult any immigration lawer on the steps to follow on the H1 transfer. I am not sure if there is a clause that you should have worked on the current company few months and get the pay checks. Also to transfer H1, you need copy of your 797 and not original. You can get it from your employer or from the lawer who filed H1. Bottom line, the forum answers should be taken as only guidence and not advice. Consult a IM lawer to confirm anything before you act.

Wait for your receipt and confirm that the "Receipt Date" printed on your receipt is July 2 (99% of the cases have the date CIS physically received the package)

HI... we get 2 slips.. yellow and pink from HDFC.. I have my yellow slip but lost the pink slip and i have the photo copy of tht pink slip with HDFC bank stamp... will it allow me to enter the consulate at Delhi..?
